THIS GUY IS NECK AND NECK WITH BILL O'REILLY FOR THE WALL OF SHAME. REAL TALK .... (YES I AM TYPING IN CAPS, CAUSE I AM PISSED OFF) HOW CAN THIS INSULT TO MUSIC SAY "NAS KILLED HIPHOP"!!!????? THAT IS LIKE RUDY GULIANI TELLING OBAMA HOW TO BE PRESIDENTIAL. THIS GUY SUCKS MAN.

WALL OF SHAME - Chino Chill

Ok ... here is a list of why this character is on the Wall Of Shame.

1. Is it really necessary to drop the F Bomb that many FUCKIN times in a FUCKIN sentence to show how FUCKIN hard you are MUTHAFUCKA ???

2. You can't talk about killing people in your verses and say you are from the hood and then shoot your lame video on a nice ass North Carolina beach with freshly trimmed trees in the background.

3. Even talking about a 5k advance is an insult to all rappers.

----- Give it a rest man.

Meet - Guido

Guido is the Vice President of Prolifik Records, (which is an Indie label formed by One Up and himself) as well as The Executive Producer for Not a Crook Productions (a freelance production/beat leasing company). All of the work performed is done in Wichita, KS. Guido has worked with top notch artists from across the U.S. and Europe and looks forward to adding more to that list. He was born in Chula Vista (San Diego) CA of Spanish decent with strong French & Native American ties. He has lived in many states and foreign countries growing up giving him an open mind when it comes to the culture of music. Guido, has been creating hip-hop since age 9 or so. He started in Phoenix, AZ with his uncle Ray Syfe of The Flood at house parties and rocking open mic shows. Later as a young teen he developed his skill through the love and passion he has for the culture. Known primarily as a freestyle emcee and a battle rapper in the streets earned Guido several opportunities to demonstrate his skills. For several years he demenstrated his commitment by tearing into local riff-raff in freestyle battles anywhere he could and on the local hip-hop radio station, Power 93.9. For about a month as he held the title of Friday Night Freestyle Champ. Since the idea being censored to death wasn't his idea of truly "spittin", he decided to venture into other aspects of the bussiness. As time passes so does creative aspects and ambitions. Tired of the same old shit being pushed by the major label A&R's, Guido decided to step in and contribute his art to the actual hip-hop culture itself. He does so with the hopes of diversifying a bland market of ignorance and conformity by offering substance & a sense of individualism within the music he creates. For starts where did the name Guido come from?

A few years back a close friend of mine, his mother passed away and his whole fam was at the services, including his uncle an old school black panther from Long Beach, CA. Well, of course I showed up to pay my respects dressed fresh in an all black pin-striped suit w/the italian leather shoes and matching coat. his uncle spots me from across the room and shouts "Hey! Guido!...... Guido! Lookin fresh man!". The name just stuck with me ever since.
Where are you reppin KS or AZ?

Neither bruh. AZ is just where I learned the trade and developed the love for hip-hop while staying with my uncle during summers between grades. an KS? I feel as if I am in no position to represent a whole city full of different people with different ideas and opinions. So its not up to me to rep wichita, its up to wichita to rep me.

It known you been a freestyle battle rapper in your city. Any interest on taking that a bigger level and try to contend with some other emcees from both coasts?

Nope. Not at all.

Instead of doing something else what made you want to make music?

Today originality, artistic concept, and depth are extinct in the music industry. I wanted and still want to make relevant hip-hop with an artistic approach, solid subject matter and thorough content...... put meaning back into music. dig?

Yea man. Who were the most influential rappers you ever heard that made you get into music?

1.Immortal Technique, Necro, Big L, the old Eminem & Royce da 5'9", Nas , The Game, X-Raided, Ice-T & NWA

With you label, Prolifik Records, What is your main agenda for 09?

Hit every notable mixtape. we out this year to gain national exposure.
Any new projects coming out?

We got a compilation lp in the works. nothing final as far as a release date goes.
Any features?

Yea, of course my right-hand man and the other half "The Prolifix", 1 UP. also, local artist RedKnowz, Miami's "The Movement", The Natural Ivan Diaz aka ConIvan, from San Diego, and a few more talented artists

What type of beats do you typically lean towards when making them?

However I'm feeling at the time, I make the opposite. when I'm pissed I lace some smoov r n b, or laid back I throw down something hype. An its always gon be a GUIDO styled track. Takin the best elements from west coast, east coast, the derty, and the mid-west. AMERICAN HIP-HOP.

Are you more interested in production or rapping?

I think i found my calling in hip-hop composing and producing.

What do you usually make your beats with?

I couldnt do what I do without using Propellerheads Reason, Recycle, Sony Acid Pro 7, all the Waves plugins, Izoptope Ozone, Roland Alpha Juno-1, Akai MPD 36, M-Audio Delta 10/10 soundcard, 16 channel Mackie micline/mixer,M-Audio ex66 monitors and an HP qaud-core w/Intel ViiV technology running Vista 64x as a workstation. if one of any of these things were to crap out on me, i would need to replace it before i could continue do anything musically.

Are you disapointed in HipHop nower days or impressed with it?

Impressed.......with what little there is. 87% of it has gone pop. I dont F*x wit pop.

If you can hop in a time machine ..what year of hiphop would you go to? and why?

F*ck the past its about tomorrow.
Does you agenda include trying to change whats going on nowerdays?

Obviously.
Name one thing you would like to abolish from Hip Hop?

MTV
If you had to compare yourself to any producer ..who would it be?
I'm not gonna lie. i bite a bit off of dre, but I cant compare to the doc.
Here at Soldya Muzik we like to ask our features some questions that really are out of the norm. We do this because it gives the fans a broader outlook on you.So lets get it cracking .... Lets keep it real ..will Obama change anything?

He'll change everything. already started too.
Will 09 be more autotune and 808's or more originality?

If I knew the future I'd be out in vegas gambling
Who is the wackest rapper of 2008?

too many!!do i have to choose jus one?!
Who would win in a battle ...Serius Jones or Cassidy?

Serius. Cassidy hot but seriously

Back To The Norm....... Name 1 song you've done that will have the Soldya Muzik viewers hooked!?

"9 Different Hustles" by "The Prolifix" vocals by 1Up

FUNNY: Man vs. Wild (Alaska Deleted Scenes) PARODY by Ken Kaos

wow props to my dude Ken. This video is genious! Enjoy the laughs

Meet - Ace Reyes

Today we are kicking it with a new inspiring rapper named Ace Reyes.
Soldya Muzik is gonna go in and see where exactly Ace's mind is at these
days. Make sure you look for him on the new "Tha Advocate and
Ballerstatus.com present Digital Dynasty Volume 3...HOSTED BY
ALCHEMIST!" Lets get into this.

For starts where did the name Ace Reyes come from?

Well the name in general comes from the alias I used when hustling. Ace
is an acronym for my mission statement on life, About Cash Everyday.
Reyes means kings in Spanish and it’s just what I took on.

Where are you reppin?

Born and raised in Queens, New York, but I’ve lived in both Orlando,
and Miami Florida. Big ups to al
l my peoples I’ve linked with over
time in all my cities ya dig.

Instead of doing something else what made you want to make music?

I got a story to tell. I need to talk about life as I see it. Everyone
got their own issues and their own story. I just put my life on the
tracks and when you can relate then you’ll feel it. With so much other
shit going for me I don’t really even have to choose music, but I do
it for the love of the game. Hip-
hop music reflects my life and is what
I grew up listening to. The rush I get in the booth is enough for me,
regardless of extreme success and fame.

Who were the most influential rappers you ever heard that made you get
into music?

I started listening to hip-hop as a youngster right before Tupac and
Biggie died. As I got older I began to listen to early hip-hop. The
artists I bumped in my life were the ones who could speak about
something that was similar to what I was going through. I was influenced
by dudes like Big Pun, Big L, Biggie, Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, Outkast,
and Rakim. Newer rappers like Ja
dakiss, Ludacris, T.I., Lil Wayne, and
Papoose, to name a few, influence me to step my game up everyday.

Are you on a label? If so let us know.....

Naw, my dude I’m currently unsigned. I’m on the mixtape and features
grind. The game is changing so much right now that maybe jumping into a
label right away ain’t the best idea. I gotta calculate my moves, with
everything being digital and all. I’ve heard the shady stories behind
these labels and I don’t
need A DEAL, I need THE DEAL.

Any new projects coming out?

I put out the “Man or Myth” mixtape back in April. Yall can check
that out at www.datpiff.com. I got my next mixtape titled, “Kilo
Stilo” coming out real soon. Got about 20 tracks I’m sorting out
right now. In the mean time you can
hear some tracks off Kilo Stilo on
myspace and musicnation. Shortly after that Ima drop my next project
titled, “Prophet for a Profit”. Also, don’t forget to check me out
on Digital Dynasty 3, Hosted by Alchemist.

Any features?

I got a small circle but I got collabs with my dudes Dizzy, Rapz,
Cartel, and Omarvelous. You can also check for me on Rapz’s mixtape
titled “H
igh Talk”.

What type of beats do you typically lean towards?

I like something that hits the s
oul. There’s an inexplicable feeling I
get when I hear a hot beat I wanna jump on. I like complex patterns,
unique sounds, an
d hard bass.

Ace, are you disapointed in HipHop nower days or impressed with it?

I’m impressed with how it has withstood time. Everything evolves, even
individuals themselves, but as hip-hop ages theres a lot of
unprecedented things we’re seeing. I’m proud of where hip-hop is,
but I am disappointed of how far off we are from the level that the
“golden age” was on. We will never have the 90s hip hop back and
that’s bad, but it also creates a chance for us up and comers to make
a new golden age from 09 and on, and that’s good.

If you can hop in a time machine ..what year of hiphop would you go to?
and why?

I would go back to the time when rappers were going platinum like water.
I know record sales doesn’t mean skills and quality, but that was a
time when a voice could be heard and if it was saying real shit then
people would listen. Nowadays, people flock to the new dance or new
gimmick that’s gonna be hot for like 2 months.

How would you describe your style of hiphop?

I got a little bit of everything. I'm an educated MC so I make thought
provoking music but at the same time I’m from the hood and I’ve had
to grind in my past so I make that Hustle and Street Music. I’ve been
through a lot of things in my life so I also make soulful music that
almost any one can relate to. I got love for the ladies and the club so
I make that just chilling and about to get some pussy music too YA DIG.

Whats your goal for the hiphop game?

Hip hop is a textbook, and I don’t just want a line or a paragraph in
it. I want a chapter and I just want to be held in high regard with the
best of them. I want to be prolific in my projects and I want people to
recognize me as one of the nicest, if not THE nicest.

Does you agenda include trying to change whats going on nowerdays?

In some ways we all conform to the norm whether we try to or not. I may
make club joints, love joints, or bangers like the next rapper but those
are views and experiences from my life and apply to me too. Other people
can relate to them so it applies to them but I’m going off my life and
my real emotions. In other ways, I make songs with concepts to make your
mind think in ways you never expected a song to make you think. I like
to hit a certain nerve or affect an emotion by relating to the way YOU
feel. Rappers make songs only thinking about themselves, I like to think
about the listener and what in my life can he either relate to or learn
from.

Does it frustrate you that to get major spins or radio play you have to
make booty music or use auto tune ?

Sometimes, because I rather put out a joint about life and how the
choices we make affect who we become, but that ain’t going to spin or
sell. So now I gotta make a club joint or love joint whether I want to
or not because that’s what the norm is. On the flip side, I’m a man
and I love getting pussy, I love bitches, I love money, and I love the
club, so it’s not hard to take from my views and make a pop song that
may get mainstream appeal. Autotone on the other hand I can’t fucks
with. No disrespect to T-Pain and those who use it, but too many people
done jumped on the wagon.

Speaking of that how played out is Auto Tune right now?

It’s over-saturated in the game right now. Let T-Pain do it, he made
it ill and he nice with it. The rest of yall come up with your own
creative shit. What the fuck?

If you had to compare yourself to any 2 rappers dead or alive ..who
would they be?

I like to say I got crazy wordplay like Big Pun but rhymes like Rakim
with a touch of Pac in there.

Here at Soldya Muzik we like to ask our features some questions that
really are out of the norm. We do this because it gives the fans a
broader outlook on you.So lets get it cracking ....

Lets keep it real ..will Obama change anything?

Not in four years, we gotta give him the whole eight. Bush done fucked
it up so bad that people are developing unrealistic expectations from
Barack. I believe he can do it though.

Are you more concerned with the state you live in or the state of
hiphop?

To be honest, Neither. I move around so much that the state I live in is
irrelevant to what I want to do with my life. I do wish Florida had more
of an underground scene like New York. Hip hop is fine, evolution comes
with time and like Obama said, Change is coming, and I think change is
good.

Who is the wackest rapper of 2008?

K-Fed, Ed Mcmahon, the white rappers from that show (VH1 White Rapper Show).
You pick homie.

Who would win in a battle ...50 Cent or Beanie Seagal?

Lyrically Beans would eat him up but in a real fight I think 50 might
bop him.

Back To The Norm.......

Name 1 song you've done that will have the Soldya Muzik viewers
hooked!?

One song? Damn I got a couple but if I gotta choose one I would choose
“Got What I Got”. That’s the hustler anthem, and I don’t mean
selling drugs, I mean striving for anything you want against all odds
and adversity.

DLD Ace Reyes song here

Thanks for hollering at us and in closing give any shoutouts...F.U.'S or
whatevers clever?

this music shit. Big ups to my dude Rapz for always having a spot for me
on his projects. Thanks to IQ aka Mizz Reyes for keeping me strong in

Meet - Sketch Architec

Today we are kicking it with a new up and coming rapper named Sketch Architec. For starts where did the name come from?

Well, people call me Sketch cause I'm really an artist..Ive been drawing since 5 yrs old....I'm a freelance Illustrator, people say I'm nice...And Architec is what I do both when I draw, I skillfully build a drawing...and when I rhyme, I build words together wit skills.

Where are you reppin?
I'm reppin Brooklyn, NYC for sure...even though at times I chill in Queens & Manhattan.

What made you start spitting?

Like alot a' cats that were 80's babies my age actually growin up in tha culture and tha 90's and being inspired by dope artists & good music.

Who were your influences to get into music?

....Ahandful of dudes...definitely tha legendary Bob Marley(all time favorite)...n*ggas like Slick Rick tha Ruler, Nas, Grand Puba Maxwell, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Eminem(especially his 1st album), Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Tha Beatles, Led Zepplin.

Are you on a label? If so let us know.....

No, Im unsigned...swinging dat independent thing...though I'd like to get a good record deal...and get an opportunity to rock!

Any new projects coming out? Any features?

I got some new projects coming soon...I'm one of tha artists featured on "the new part 2"...special thanx to a dope emcee..Tha Advocate (whatup fam!), I was featured on a series of Mic Checks hosted by Killah Priest..put together by Advocate, I'm on the Digital Dynasty mixtapes #1 hosted by Hot Rod and #2 hosted by Willie Northpole...I got a mixtape coming soon as well as an album currently under construction.

In your song "So Hard", you speak of alot of everyday struggles. Do you feel like that song can reach the masses in these hardtimes?

Oh yeah, most def! When I cut dat song (big up to Advocate & deff Jeff Burner for the beat)..I quickly got some feedback, people telling me they're inspired by the joint etc., I feel alot of people relate to the verses I spit in that song..especially now in this recession climate...people want more real hip hop like that.

Are you disapointed in HipHop nower days or impressed with it?

At times I'm disappointed, times I'm a lil' impressed...I just think there should be a balance...Everybody's a thug! player, pimp, baller etc., like no one has flaws? struggles? it's kool to spit dat gangster sh*t if you real bout' it like dat....but do it skillfully...n*ggas like JayZ, Biggie, Nas, NWA etc., those artists were real & they made dope music....Im just saying have diversity...conscious, hardcore, honest hip hop etc. should all get even levels of airplay....Back in the Golden Era, there was so much diversity...originality and that foundation made Hip Hop a strong force. Now, it's not enough originality.

Name a Golden year in hiphop in your opinion?

Probably for me would be 94' with Illmatic...dat album blew me away...Nasty Nas at his rawest...of course, Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie...and before 1994, like 88', Slick Rick...and early 90's..Black Moon, Gangstar...I don't wanna forget names, but all those artists and more that were completely original wit sick production too.

What makes the way you emcee different from the others?

I don't think I sound too much like alot of cats out here...cats say I got a good voice...and my subject matter is a lil' different...I try to be honest wit my sh*t...dealin wit life & nature...at the same time, the hood can nod they head to it...and I try to go against tha grain lyrically....I grew up in an era where tight lyrics were manditory...and I'm glad I learned from emcees like a Slick, Nas, Puba, Rakim etc., I'm happy I grew up in that era....some of these new cats rhyme way too easy! They not trying to challenge themselves or raise the bar & go against the grain...everybody's a photocopy. Any mixtapes or albums coming out?
Yeah I'm on Mic Check 9 & 9.5 hosted by Killah Priest..Digital Dynasty1 hosted by Hot Rod & #2 hosted by Willie Northpole...and you should see me on tha latest Digital Dynasty#3 hosted by The Alchemist...I got more joints to come...mainly my mixtape coming real soon. Also peep my joints at myspace. com/anchientscroll, stay tuned!

Does you agenda include trying to change whats going on nowerdays?

I would like to open doors for more soulful Hip Hop..my music's kinda emotional & personal..at the same time I'm coming wit the rhyme skills...I'm just tryna come wit what I got to offer and rock! My tunes is also about fighting oppression and stuff like dat...so in certain degrees, it's about change.

Does the "N" Word in hiphop bother you?

No .not at all.

Would it bother you if Eminem said it?

I dunno. It depends...I think he gets a pass.... aside from being a top 5 emcee, he had to face alot of obstacles that we minority's do...and to me, also, he aint a racist....but if it's another person dat obviously has racial issues, then I'm not feelin dat. But growin up in BK all my life, you chill wit peoples and say it all tha time. There's just too much concentration on that word...there's so much other things to work on...cats can't even get along wit each other! there's a recession etc.

Are you amped about Obama?

Yeah, that brother made history! it's very inspiring...it shows what bravery, hardwork, etc. can do! I do believe though, he's got alot of work ahead of him...fa real!

Are you more concerned with global warming or the state of hiphop?

Probably a lil' bit of both! sh&t...it be like 80 degrees in Oct/Nov! dats not normal....f#ckin glaciers in Antartica are melting faster than they should....As for hip hop....more doors should be opened for skillful, creative artists!

Pepsi or Coke?

PEPSI

And speaking of album sales ... is the internet really the reason that the music is failing?

I don't really think so...music is falling cause not enough n*ggas is coming wit skills & originality, and makin good albums! The internet is amazing! especially for an independent artist!

Who would win in a battle ...Krs One in his prime or Big Daddy Kane in his hayday?

Dats a hard one! In my opinion....Slick Rick in his prime? was untouchable! but btween KRS & kANE, I got alot of respect for KRS wit his insight&knowledge, but I was more of a Kane fan growin up, so Id have to say BDK!

Back To The Norm....... Name 1 song you've done that will have the Soldya muzik viewers hooked!?

Like I said b4, I got alot of good feedback wit "So Hard" so I'm confident dat song will do well....I got anotha song called "Cuts&Scars"..that I think is tight as well..I got a handful of joints comin soon!

Thanks for hollering at us and in closing give any shoutouts...F.U.'S or whatevers clever?

Good lookin out bredren...shoutout's to Advo, Deff Jeff Burna, my cousin Adrian...what up fam! Ted, Tee, English, Dex, my trini fam, hathor, stacey, my son Ely, ma dukes, anyone dat I forgot, my bad...Ill catch yal tha nex go-round, be on tha lookout for my mixtape&album comin soon! website comin soon! peep my artwork & music at myspace. com/anchientscroll

WANT A SLOT ON --Digital Dynasty 3, Hosted By The Alchemist, Coming Soon

BallerStatus.com is back with yet another installment of our Digital Dynasty mixtape series. Now, we're on Volume 3.

After two successful releases -- the first with hosted by G-Unit's Hot Rod and the second by DTP's Willy Northpole -- BallerStatus and our resident producer/rapper Tha Advocate are getting close to dropping the next installment.

This time around, we've tapped famed producer The Alchemist to play host, alongside Infamous Mobb's Big Twin, both of which navigate fans through our digital mixtape.

"If you got volume 1, you know what's up. If you got volume 2 ... f***ing congratulations," said The Alchemist. "Who else gets 100,000+ downloads from the first two volumes? BallerStatus.com is in the building."

"They say third time's a charm. If this don't prove it, nothing will," added Tha Advocate. "The success of our first two volumes is incredible. But this right here is gonna set up the proper platform for a takeover in 09."

Like each previously volumes, we've opened up slots to indie artists, looking for more exposure, by letting only the dopest artists' tracks appear.

Those interested in finding out how to get on Digital Dynasty Vol. 3, email Tha Advocate @ shadowfalinx@hotmail.com for further details.

Here's just a taste of what will come in just a few more weeks. This is "The N.E.W. Pt. 3" from Tha Advocate and several up-and-comers dropping heat. Check it out and download it at ZShare.

Digital Dynasty Vol. 3, hosted by The Alchemist and Big Twin, will drop exclusively here at BallerStatus.com in the coming weeks.

Also, if you haven't already, cop The Alchemist's latest release, The Alchemist's Cookbook, a digital EP with six brand new tracks -- including guest spots from Snoop, Prodigy, Styles P, Jadakiss and others. It's in stores now.

Stay tuned.

The Wall Of Shame That I Refuse To Post.

Here is the deal. There are some things that are worse then the wall of shame. I didn't post that kid who committed suicide online, while he was being edged on by some internet geeks. Its disrespectful to even show. Now with Thanksgiving over there is no way in hell I can post the Wal-Mart worker who was trampled to death by some black Friday Shoppers in Long Island. Is this what we are coming to as a people? This isn't about race ...it's about the human race. We need to have some type of morals. All those people that barged in Wal-Mart to buy there spoiled child a Nintendo Wii have to deal with the fact they contributed to some honest workers death. This guy was just doing his job ...he went in early to assist you materialistic people in spoiling your children even more. These two stories I refuse to post. I'll leave those videos for the Mediatakeout's to handle. Its disrespectful for the last memory of these two people is to be in a video losing there lives. Sorry ...I aint the one! Straighten up people! Real Talk!

WALL OF SHAME - Joe Budden

I am a Budden supporter and fan ..but nothing justifies this shit. Sometimes he comes off a lil too nieve. As you can see in the video he is making fun of "Chinese people sitting indian style". They were sitting there to protest the Chinese oppression happening in Tibet. Budden later on released this message ""we're really not this ignorant, more so bored..... our apologies to any1 who may feel offended, i guess. Wow ... Talk about a whole hearted apology. You thinkbeing a lyricist that he is he would say a little more about the situation. Originally he said "A Bunch Of Chinese People.. Sitting Indian Style. Maybe There Looking For Bruce Lee". At the end of the day you can't say this isn't racist ...sad man.
