Here is the deal. There are some things that are worse then the wall of shame. I didn't post that kid who committed suicide online, while he was being edged on by some internet geeks. Its disrespectful to even show. Now with Thanksgiving over there is no way in hell I can post the Wal-Mart worker who was trampled to death by some black Friday Shoppers in Long Island. Is this what we are coming to as a people? This isn't about race ...it's about the human race. We need to have some type of morals. All those people that barged in Wal-Mart to buy there spoiled child a Nintendo Wii have to deal with the fact they contributed to some honest workers death. This guy was just doing his job ...he went in early to assist you materialistic people in spoiling your children even more. These two stories I refuse to post. I'll leave those videos for the Mediatakeout's to handle. Its disrespectful for the last memory of these two people is to be in a video losing there lives. Sorry ...I aint the one! Straighten up people! Real Talk!

WALL OF SHAME - Joe Budden
I am a Budden supporter and fan ..but nothing justifies this shit. Sometimes he comes off a lil too nieve. As you can see in the video he is making fun of "Chinese people sitting indian style". They were sitting there to protest the Chinese oppression happening in Tibet. Budden later on released this message ""we're really not this ignorant, more so bored..... our apologies to any1 who may feel offended, i guess. Wow ... Talk about a whole hearted apology. You thinkbeing a lyricist that he is he would say a little more about the situation. Originally he said "A Bunch Of Chinese People.. Sitting Indian Style. Maybe There Looking For Bruce Lee". At the end of the day you can't say this isn't racist ...sad man.

WALL OF SHAME - The Game
Yo ...I never have seen a rapper that contradicts himself like Game. First he wants a beef wit the Unit then he don't then he does then he don't then he does...(etc.). He always disses people and retracts his statements (Jay z, Joe Budden, Young Buck, Yukmouth, RassKass, 50 and G Unit, Dre, damn man the list goes on). It's annoying as hell. Anyway, here he is 3 years later still dissing 50 Cent. Word of advice stop talking about Dre and 50 ...they moved on ..why can't you??
O yea .... remember this????

Where are you reppin?
First and foremost Tha A-State a.k.a Tha A.R.K. Arkansas all day every day. All of Arkansas. I've been all over the state and got people everywhere so I'm not gonna limit myself to just one city cause I grew up in multiple cities throughout different times in my life. But I am from the other great H-Town, Hazen, Arkansas. Speaking of the other H-Town though right now I'm currently in Texas doing some more growing know what im sayin. So imma represent where I be at too fa sho. And right now its Central Texas.

What made you pick up a mic and get busy?
Man I don'-t even remember. I've been writing so long I cant even remember the first time I wrote some shit. I know it was at least 5 grade. And I would write off and on and it just was my release for everything I was going through. Once I turned 13 I got worse and more shit started happening in life so I wrote more and more. Now I try to write and prevent the youth from having to go through anything along and just for them to have something to relate too when they going through shit and dont know what they gone do cause I've been there.
Who were your influences to get into hiphop?
Damn theres so many. Tupac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Chamillionaire, Bun B, Pimp C (R.I.P), Lil Keke, Scarface, T.I., shit really there are so many I could never name them all.
We heard you are in the military and will be going back to Iraq soon.
Are you dreading that ? How much time is left in your contract?
Yeah we are supposed to be going back next year. I definitely am dreading it but not because I'm scared of dying or anything like that. I dread it because I'm not looking forward to being that out of touch with my fans, and with the rest of the world. But as soon as I get back best believe the game is over. I have 4 years left in my contract I get out in 2012.Oh yeah it definitely is. Having a successful music career isn't just about the music, its about your connections with your fans too. Its about how much you really get out there and grind for it. So finding time to write, record, promote, and everything else and at the same time work around my army training and everything is really tough. Like I said earlier that's the only reason I dont want to go back to Iraq right now is because I feel like I have such good momentum right now and being gone for 12 months can really crush that. But its all good cause I am here and I'm always gonna be here!
Is it hard to balance a military career and an inspiring music career?Yeah I definitely would have joined. Like T.I. said "Some move away to make a way, Not move away cause they afraid". I had to take the initiative and get out of the situations I was in and the way I was living so I could do great things for myself and go back and do great things for those that have stood by my side.
If you can go back ...would you still joint the service?Im on my label : Divine Musik Records. I do not have a major label deal right now but honestly I dont even know if a major would know what to do wit me right now im so cold. Yeah I got a couple new joints in the works right now. First and foremost we got Big Gib feat. Tha Advocate "Love Of The Game". Of course that joint goes hard and you can check it out exclusively on Digital Dynasty Vol. 3 presented by ballerstatus.com and Tha Advocate. So yall head on over to ballerstatus.com and go and download that Digital Dynasty Vol. 3 it should be out in the next couple months.
Are you on a label? If so let us know.....
I Also got a couple solo joints in the works right now. Be on the lookout for my next single called "I Made It" and soon after that I hope to be dropping "Up Ya SoldYa Game"!
As for right now everyone should be hittin up myspace.com/divinerecordsbiggib and peepin all the game I got posted there. And if you haven't got it already go to itunes and get Divine Musik Presents: Seven On Da ComeOut. The first official mixtape from Divine Musik and Big Gib!
You know its really not. And to me its not even about choosin this sound or that sound. What I spit comes from the heart. And my process of writing doesn't allow me choose a style. Whatever comes out and how it comes out is what you get. Whether you think it sounds North, South, East, West its gonna be hot.
You are from the South, but have a universal sound. Your lyrics are also universal. Is it important to you to not "sound local" ?I wouldn't really say I have a certain style. I like to switch it up and just make music everyday people can relate to.
How would you describe your style of hiphop? My ultimate goal is to just be able to have a positive effect on the people's lives around me and on anyones that listens to my music. Yeah Bentleys and Mansions are cool but before all that theres people I have to take care of. Thats why I do this!
Whats your goal for the hiphop game? You know it definitely does. But then again at the same time it doesnt. Let me explain. Even if you aint sayin those things you can still get played on radio and get spins in numerous places. You might have to work harder and you might not reach the same audience but you can do it. And if you are that hot then you are going to get your major spins and radio play one day anyway. And these dudes that are just on the radio cause they can come up with a catchy hook or gimmick they are not going to be in the game 10 years from now when I am. They aint gone last. So I dont even let it phase me.
Does it frustrate you that to get major spins or radio play you have to say "drop it,shawty, back it up"...etc.?Im just gonna compare myself to 1 and thats Big Gib. I have alot of influences from many rappers: Jay-Z, Tupac, Em, Wayne, Jeezy, Kanye, UGK, Chamillionaire, Juelz Santana, Webbie, and I feel like that I'm on a level to compete with all of them. I can switch up styles and do any type of track. And I can make any type of track you want and make it believable cause I spit real shit from the heart and from experiences. But I can only compare myself to Me.
If you had to compare yourself to any 2 rappers dead or alive ..who would they be?Hell Yeah! Its about damn time. I was excited enough just to have Bush leave office. But now its like on a whole other level. This is such a triumph and sign of the strength and unity of this country and is a really big win for the little guys who have always felt like they was never gonna get there. Well now we got something!
Here at SoldyaMuzik we like to ask our features some questions that really are out of the norm.We do this because it gives the fans a broader outlook on you.So lets get it cracking ....
Are you happy about Obama being elected?I really do. I don't think its going to come just from Obama being president and anything he will do particular. But I think Obama being elected marks a great symbol of change for the better for this country. And I think people are inspired by that and Obama mixed with an inspired country of people will definitely create some change!
Do you think change will really come?Definitely the State of Hip Hop. If global warming continues to happen and the country heats up some more that is not going to get people out the streets and educated and going in the right direction. If we fix the state of hip hop maybe we could help more people get out the struggle and going in the right direction. And I think people would rather be hot than to continue without hope. Mother fuckers need to stop fuckin the game up. For real. Learn the rules homeboy.
Are you more concerned with global warming or the state of hiphop?I think it helps. I don't think it completely makes up for it. But I do see it as a point where people might download your album for free but after they hear it if its bangin they will go pay for a ringtone for it. So its win/lose to me. But in this day and age thats just what we face so you gotta be ready for it. You have to have a plan to market yourself and get yourself out there in more ways than just albums. Cause in today's game that shit just aint gonna set you alone.
Does major ringtone sales make up for bad albums sales?
Who would win in a battle ..Cassidy in his prime or Canibus in his hayday?
Cassidy

WALL OF SHAME - LUPE FIASCO
Ok here's the deal. I been saying for a while yall over rate Lupe. Alot, of people think he is the new Nas when it comes to intelligence .... I've gotten in heated arguements about this. A few months back he dissed a Tribe Called Quest then he lied about Obama twice during the primaries. It even caused fellow Chicago rapper Rhymefest to check him on the subject!! Now after the most historic day of our lifetime he says "I wasn't impressed by the Obama speech ..etc etc". Well we aren't impressed with your wack ass albums and your "superstar" single. Real talk my dude get a grip and grow up. I can easily talk circles around you about the state of our economy and our political process. Lets do it like this ..if you don't know shit about current events ...KEEP YA MOUTH SHUT!! Lupe makes the Wall Of Shame!!

Meet - Roscoe Da Balla
From Texas to your town you might have heard of Roscoe Da Balla. His break out single "Honor Me" is starting to make its mixtape rounds on the internet and mixtapes. He made an impressive appearance on Tha Advocate callabo track "The N.E.W. PT 2". Now today, Soldya Muzik is chopping it up with Roscoe Da Balla .....
SoldyaMuzik:Where are you reppin?
R.D.B.: Southwest Fort Worth, Texas
SoldyaMuzik:Being from Texas are you worried it will be harder to get on? Specially since most Texas artists aren't selling nowerdays?
R.D.B.: Not really. We still have some solid MC's out here... Chamillionaire, Scarface, Bun B, ect... Plus, North Texas music and H-Town music are two different flavors. The music I do showcases a universal style that you hear on the block from many cats who got flow, but that's not what usually makes it to the stores or in the press.
SoldyaMuzik:Are you happy with the reaction to your songs that were featured on ballerstatus. com's Digital Dynasty mixtape series?
R.D.B.: Oh, fa sho. I've been getting CRAZY buzz over that joint 'Honor Me'. They tell me they really dig it.
SoldyaMuzik:What made you pick up a mic and get busy?
R.D.B.: I've always felt like music was my calling, whether it be emceeing or producing.
SoldyaMuzik:Who were your influences to get into music?
R.D.B.: Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, UGK, and N.W.A.
SoldyaMuzik:Are you on a label? If so let us know.....
R.D.B.: I'm a FREE AGENT yall! I have a 'word-of-mouth' street label like many other local artists out here called Ballin Company. That's my team. But other than that, if you talking some serious business get at me.
SoldyaMuzik:Any new projects coming out? Any features?
R.D.B.: My album SELF-EXPLANATORY is due out early next year. I have many features lined up and others that are still in the works. Let's see, I got Cool Breeze on there... man, I gotta stay quiet about the some of the other features, but I do have some industry figures on my album. It's going to be hard. Yall look out for me!
SoldyaMuzik:Are you disapointed in HipHop nower days or impressed with it?
R.D.B.: I'm a little bit of both. It's sad what we as the Hip Hop community have allowed major labels to turn our culture into. One hit wonders and ringtone artists are flooding the market just to get on. And the sad thing is, they have no plans of sustainment. Don't get me wrong, there are some true artists and emcees out there, but they don't get their proper shine.
SoldyaMuzik:Name a Golden year in hiphop in your opinion?
R.D.B.: 1996. Alot of classic albums came out around that time. Pac, Biggie, B.O.N.E. Thugs. That was the year that nothing mattered but good music.
SoldyaMuzik:How would you describe your style of hiphop?
R.D.B.: I've been told that I sound similar to a Young Jeezy, Pimp-C, Slim Thug type rapper. That's a huge compliment in my book.
SoldyaMuzik:Whats your goal for the hiphop game?
R.D.B.: I want to make a name for myself musically and hopefully expand my style into other genres of music and work with other people.
SoldyaMuzik:Does your agenda include trying to change whats going on nowerdays?
R.D.B.: Naw, not at all. I'll leave that for the next president. Shout out to Barak Obama.
SoldyaMuzik:Does Roscoe Da Balla have any cross over tracks?
R.D.B.: Mos definitely. I'm actually in the process of clearing a sample by Imogen Heap. Now that's gangsta!
SoldyaMuzik:If you had to compare yourself to any 2 rappers dead or alive ..who would they be?
R.D.B.: I'd say either Young Jeezy or Paul Wall. I think my swag got em both though, no hate.
SoldyaMuzik:Are you concerned more with global warming or the state of hiphop?
R.D.B.: Global warming. Hip Hop can't live if we can't live.
SoldyaMuzik:Does major ringtone sales make up for bad albums sales?
R.D.B.: Fortunately and unfortunately, it does.
SoldyaMuzik:And speaking of album sales ... is the internet really the reason that the music is failing?
R.D.B.: Not at all. If anything, it's kept it alive thus far. Artists need to go back to the drawing board and work on solid material with substance in hopes for a classic album.
SoldyaMuzik:Who would win in a battle ...LL Cool J in his prime or Jay Z in his hayday?
R.D.B.: It'd be a tie.
SoldyaMuzik:King of the south .... Scarface , TI , Bun B or Luda?
R.D.B.: Out of those, Scarface. But ask anybody from Texas, it's DJ SCREW... R.I.P. He's the reason why alot of Texas rappers even got on in the first place.
SoldyaMuzik:can u put those in order listed as your favorites?
R.D.B.: Bun B, Scarface, T.I., Ludacris
SoldyaMuzik:Back To The Norm.......
SoldyaMuzik:Name 1 song you've done that will have the SoldyaMuzik viewers hooked!?
R.D.B.: I have a song called 'Get Money' that's addictive in the clubs out here man. It's like when Too Short dropped 'Gettin It' or when B.G. dropped 'Bling Bling'. It just makes you want to go to the mall and BALL.
SoldyaMuzik:Thanks for hollering at us and in closing give any shoutouts...F.U.'S or whatevers clever?
R.D.B.: No hate. Shout out to all that checked out the Ballerstatus. com mixtapes and bumped my tracks among others. Big up to my wife, Donna, who without her I wouldn't have the resources to make my dreams come true, and big ups to Tha Advocate for looking out for me and seeing the true talent and grind that we got down here in the South. Already!
