Free Mixtape Download- Digital Dynasty 18 (Hosted by Cashis)
Digital Dynasty 18 is finally here, and just in time for Christmas...
After announcing the upcoming release in late November, we received a slew of submissions, and after weeding through a ton of material ... here it is: the latest installment of our free digital mixtape series, Digital Dynasty 18, hosted by Shady Records' Cashis.
"This is the best way to end the year off. This mixtape is flames from front to back," says founder, Tha Advocate. "Looking back, 2011 was a productive year for Digital Dynasty. We dropped our retail album, and did volumes with Saigon, Jaz-O and Cashis. Not too mention, we dropped my mixtape The Breaking Point ... I can't wait to see what next year brings."
This new tape boasts over 40 tracks from up-and-comers with some heat, who needed a little shine to show off their talent. We also mixed in some new bangers, as well as heaters from our host.

Want to be on DIGITAL DYNASTY 18 Hosted by Cashis??
It's been a minute, but it's coming... Digital Dynasty 18 is on its way, and expected in time for Christmas as a gift from BallerStatus.com and Tha Advocate.
For the upcoming installment of our free, digital mixtape series, Shady Records' Cali-bred signee Cashis has signed on to play host, helping us introduce hot newcomers ... and usual suspects' music.
After a short break, we're back.
"After taking a brief break after dropping Digital Dynasty 17 with the legendary Jaz-O, I wanted to drop my tape (The Breaking Point)," explained the series' creator, Tha Advocate. "Now as the year is coming to a close, we are taking it back to the west coast. It's big when you combine BallerStatus, Tha Advocate and Shady Records for Volume 18!
"We are gonna close this year out with bang. I want only the dopest, best artists to submit for this sh**," he continued.
Cashis echoed Advo's comments, making sure everyone's preparing for another drop collection.
"This is the part where I tell you the chain of command has been filled ya dig? It's Cashis, Tha Advocate and Ballerstatus.com in this bitch! It's Digital Dynasty baby. We got a slew of some of the best artists on here signed or unsigned [on this mixtape]," said Cashis.
Since its inception, the DD series has garnered over 1.2 million downloads. Past hosts include N.O.R.E., Xzibit, Chamillionaire, Alchemist, DJ Whoo Kid, and Ras Kass, among others. And, if you're not familiar with the series yet, it's time to get with it. It's dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not otherwise get the exposure they should receive. So, we put a little light on them to check their skills.
As always, slots on the upcoming volume are open to talent on the come-up, who need a chance to shine, or established artists wanting to drop some new mixtape heat. For info, holler at Tha Advocate: shadowfalinx@hotmail.com.
DD 18 will drop before the end of the year. In the meantime, download previous volumes below.
And, make sure to support our host Cashis. He dropped mixtape, titled From The Vault earlier this year on iTunes. Cop that, and be on the look out for his upcoming LP, titled Euthanasia, due next year. Follow him on Twitter @TheRealCashis.

Download here- Tha Advocate- The Breaking Point Mixtape (Hosted by Big Lou, Doitall and Killah Priest)
The rapper/producer hits fans with a mixtape of all original material, boasting songs with a variety of angles and topics -- from problems with society to the struggles of relationships. It's definitely his most personal project yet.
"I feel like this mixtape is me not just talking the talk, but walking the walk," Advo tells BallerStatus.com. "I constantly express my dislike for what hip-hop has turned into and how the real artist,s true to their craft, don't get there proper outlets to shine anymore. So I reached The Breaking Point and decided to make my actions speak louder then words.
"This whole project is so hip-hop, it's so New Jersey, and it's so Advo," the rapper continued. "I put a lot of work into this. Now-a-days the game is so saturated with spam sending 'rappers' that suck and most people almost get numb to hearing about a new artist's mixtape dropping. I am asking that you take some time and download this free, or purchase a CDQ hard copy, and analyze the sh** out of what I put together."
The Breaking Point is a 29-track effort, hosted by vets Big Lou, Doitall and Killah Priest. It features guests such as Ras Kass, Killah Priest, and Mr. Probz. It also features Advo's 2010 hit, "I Run This (Remix)," featuring skilled newcomers such as The Phenom Cartel, Mass, Shawn Blayze, and Whodini.

With everything going on in the country some of your favorite artists are out there supporting the cause. One of those people is industry vet, and my homie, Mike Bivins. He sent me over a video of him behind the scenes at the MLK tribute in D.C. and you can see everything behind the scenes from the occupy protestors, the supporters, and some exclusive conversations with Michael Eric Dyson and Al Sharpton. When I spoke with Mike he told me that he makes these webisodes "to give you access, and these stories are to uplift and entertain." Jaz-O On Deck To Host 'Digital Dynasty #17', Taking Submissions Now!
See original article here
Back in June, we released our 16th installment of our free Digital Dynasty mixtape series, and now, #17 is on its way.
This time around, we reached out to a hip-h0p vet, named Jaz-O. Some of youngsters may not have heard of him, but his name is eerily similar to one of hip-hop's superstars right? Well, that's because he was Jay's mentor, and without him, the R-O-C and artists Hov introduced may not be here today.
So, as the summer gets hot, Jaz-O signs on to host Digital Dynasty 17.
"This one is really important to me," exclaims Digital Dynasty's executive producer, Tha Advocate. "I usually have an 'Old School Jewel' on each mixtape for people to recognize that real hip-hop, unlike a lot of this present day mainstream garbage. You have seen us get legends like Mike Bivins, Naughty by Nature, and now I reached out to 'the originator,' Jaz-O. and we gonna make it happen.
"A lot of people who like J. Cole need to realize, he probably wouldn't be here if there was no Jay-Z ... and if there was no Jaz-O, then there would be no Jay-Z. That snowball effect is huge and that's why I am glad we are gonna make this happen."
Since its inception, the DD digital mixtape series has garnered over 1.2 million downloads, with past hosts including the likes of N.O.R.E., Xzibit, Chamillionaire, Alchemist, DJ Whoo Kid, and Ras Kass, among others.
And, if you're not familar with the series yet, it's time to get with it. The series is dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not, otherwise, get the exposure they should receive. So, we put a little light on them to check their skills.
As always, slots on the upcoming volume are open to talent on the come-up, who need a chance to shine, or established artists wanting to drop some new mixtape heat. For info, holler at Tha Advocate: shadowfalinx@hotmail.com.
#17 will drop in the coming weeks. Until then, download our previous volumes of Digital Dynasty below.

It's finally here, Digital Dynasty: The Album
(SEE ORIGINAL ARTICLE HERE)
It's finally here, Digital Dynasty: The Album.
After announcing it in early February, and working on it for more than two months, we are excited to finally release the first official album in our long-running digital mixtape series. In conjunction with New Jersey rapper Tha Advocate, the first Digital Dynasty album boasts 20 tracks from ill up-and-coming artists from around the country and a few overseas.
"It's finally here," boasts executive producer Tha Advocate. "It took a little time, but this is dope. This might be the best, if not one of the best, compilations for on-the-come-up artists."
For the official Digital Dynasty, we enlisted a slew of artists who've appeared on previous volumes of our free mixtape. It's time for them to shine.
"An album is a whole different animal then a mixtape," admits Advo. "You have heavy graphic designs, mastering, and a quality standard involved when making this possible. We have some Digital Dynasty regulars and some new talent. We got artists from the US and all the way to Australia. This is something you need to check out."
As always, the digital version of the album is free for download below, but we're pressed up a limited amount of copies for sale. So, without further adieu, the download and buy now links are below, as well as the final tracklist.
Make sure to keep it locked for our next installment of the DD mixtape series, coming soon.

First Leak Off Upcoming 'Digital Dynasty: The Album', Few Slots Open
Earlier this month, we announced the upcoming release of the official album for our previously free, digital mixtape series, Digital Dynasty.
Now, we're unleashing the album's first single, produced and recorded by Tha Advocate, titled "The N.E.W."
The track is the first official version of the series, dropped throughout previous 15-plus free mixtapes, featuring some "n.e.w." undiscovered artists from around the world.
"I started the concept to make collabo songs of dope artists from all over and called it 'The N.E.W.' It stands for 'The New East West' ... new talent from all over the map," Advo explained of the track series. "I usually hand select them and typically we go eight bars each per song, and each song usually showcases close to six to eight artists.
With seven parts of the track already floating around the Internet, Advo decided it was time to make the official first version of "The N.E.W.", and here it is.
"This version is so lethal, it's insane," he exclaims.
The album version features up-and-comers such as CoDizzle, Sketch Architec, J.D. Artist, Shawn Blayze, Lido, Blade Malice, Mass, Underground, and Real Redrick. And was produced by Glish Productions and Jeff Burna.
(Download/listen "The N.E.W." right here )
Digital Dynasty: The Album will be dropping in March. A few slots are still open for you undiscovered talents out there. Hit Advo at shadowfalinx@hotmail.com for more info.
