Q Parker (of 112) Hosting 'Digital Dynasty R&B 2' Mixtape, Submissions Open For Singers/ Rappers

Most of y'all are familiar with our on-going, hip-hop mixtape series, Digital Dynasty, but Tha Advocate and Ballerstatus.com also launched an R & B installment over two years ago. Today, we officially announce Digital Dynasty  R & B 2, hosted by Q Parker, formerly of the group 112.

"It's been over two years since we dropped the first  R & B volume with the legendary Mike Bivins, and now, I think it's the right time to follow-up," said Advo. "I have been watching Q make true R & B music over the past few months and it's an honor to work with him on this project. "His new album is crazy official and having him hosting our new volume is going to really set the tone for the type of music we will feature." he continued.

Like the main Digital Dynasty series, the mixtape is dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not otherwise get the exposure they should receive. In this case, singers from around the world, or  R & B influenced music from rappers as well.

"It's my turn, my turn to turn it all the way up," Q says of his involvement. We need to get back to the essence. With that said, we are gonna showcase a lot of substance music on this mixtape." So, stay tuned..

Our last installment of the Digital Dynasty mixtape series (#21, hosted by ThisIs50.com's Jack Thriller) dropped in early August. Two months later, we're prepping the upcoming release of #22... this time, hosted by Philly's own, Freeway. World Premier : Jimmy ValenTime- "MC Serch" (MCA) (HD VIDEO)

Jimmy Valentime returns with the final video from his debut project Life in Amazin Times “Mc Serch” (MCA) is a departure from the more serious sounding songs found on the project. Jimmy explains “The song is a play on Rick Ross's “Mc Hammer” song from a few years back, just having fun with that concept and style that’s been dominating the radio for the last few years.” While it might appear at first that the song is trying to cash in on the recent passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch, that is not the case, as the song was recorded late last year. Jimmy counters “The plan was always to shoot a video this summer; I wanted to have a song that could be great for parties, which still was true to my rhyme style.” The video show cases several of Jimmy's long time friends such as Urban Miracle and Varyus Waise. The group having fun as they travel from Canal St. to Coney Island. Jimmy says “It’s a fun song in the spirit of what the Beastie Boys were about early in their career, and I hope it puts a smile on their faces.”

Tha Advocate Questions 9/11, Bin Laden Death On New Song, 'Behind The Curtain'

Tha Advocate Questions 9/11, Bin Laden Death On New Song, 'Behind The Curtain'

Our upcoming mixtape with Tha Advocate, entitled Digital Dynasty 21, is almost here. But, before we drop it ... we have one more exclusive. Advo leaks out this new track alongside Lord Gang's Ky Williams, called "Behind The Curtain," which poses questions about 9/11, Bin Laden, and a shadow government. "I made this song to ask questions that people consider taboo," the New Jersey rapper/producer explains. "A lot of of this 9/11 and Bin Laden talk definitely raises a lot of questions and when people ask, they are usually called crazy. Can planes really knock down two towers and Building #7 in controlled demolition format? How come most people don't know what Building #7 is? And how come people don't know over 100 architects say it's impossible for a collapse like that? "That's why I put audio samples from various news shows covering this topic to show real people have these concerns ... not just some crazy ass rebel rappers from New Jersey. Me and Ky had several talks about this before, so we decided to pen our thoughts on this subject. This will be the first of many tracks on this topic and this is just the warm up lap." Download Tha Advocate and Ky Williams' "Behind The Curtain" right here,http://www.datpiff.com/Tha-Advocate-Digital-Dynasty-21-Hosted-By-Young-Jack-Thriller-mixtape.381529.html. Free Download- Garden State Greats - State Honor (Hosted by Tha Advocate, Doitall and JD Williams)

It's been a while but we finally dropped the new mixtape from The Garden State Greats!

New Jersey has a long history in hip-hop, breed talents like Redman, Ice-T, The Fugees, Queen Latifah, The Outlawz, Slaugtherhouse's Joe Budden, the Poor Righteous Teachers, and Rah Diggah. Those are just a few names though. A few others who have made their mark in NYC's neighboring city are legendary groups, Naughty By Nature and the Lords of the Underground.

As revealed in a previous interview, Naughty frontman Treach and Lord Gang's Doitall are among a newly formed group comprised of some of the state's best emcees, known as the Garden State Greats (GSG).

The group -- comprised of Trigger Treach, Doitall, Fam Famiil, Tah G Ali, Prince Ak, B-Wellz 211 and The 0-50 Boyz -- have been hard at work over the past several months on their debut mixtape ... and it's finally here. We hooked up with the new group to exclusively debut the tape, titled State Honor, a collection of new tracks from GSG and close collaborators.

The debut mixtape boasts 18 brand new songs featuring all members of the group, as well as verses from Tha Advocate, Whodini, and JD Williams ("The Wire"), among others.

"The idea was brain stormed from Fam of Rotten Razcals, who said, 'Yo we need to get together a squad,' " Treach said of the group's formation. "We had to build the movement locally, because that's how it is, you got to have your hood backing you and your state riding with you."

Look out for future projects projects from GSG. Until them, follow group members on Twitter: Treach (@TriggerTreach), Doitall (@DoitallDu), Naughty By Nature (@NaughtyByNature), and Tah G Ali (@Tah_G_Ali); or on Facebook.
